In Memory Of Sgt William P. Rudd

Sgt. William P. Rudd of Madisonville, Kentucky died on October 5th in Mosul,
Iraq, from wounds suffered by enemy small arms fire while on a combat patrol. He was 27 years
old.
Sgt. Rudd was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment out of Fort Benning,
Georgia.
William "Patrick" was deployed twice to Afghanistan, and five times to Iraq. He
is expected to posthumously receive the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star Medal, and the Meritorious
Service Medal. He is survived by his father, mother, stepmother, sister, and brother. Please keep
Sgt. Rudd's family, friends, and fellow soldiers in your thoughts and prayers.
