We hardly ever post any paparazzi shots, as we find it a pretty sleazy business in general. But we have to link to this story because we were shocked - shocked! The View cohost, and winner of an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, a Tony Award, two Golden Globe Awards and two Saturn Awards - Whoopi Goldberg - is a smoker.

I'm Not Obsessed published these photos yesterday of Ms. Goldberg on her way out of the store, Marlboro Reds box in hand as well as what looks like a fairly thick stack of instant lottery tickets.

Actually I don't know which is more surprising: that Whoopi puffs on Reds or that the celeb who has won as many awards as only 12 other actresses in history is playing the lotto.

Reds are pretty harsh...I can't smoke too many of those or I'll get ill. But, hey, maybe Whoopi can sign our petition for smokers' rights...
