The View Ladies Ponder Why Whoopi Wasn't In The Oscars Montage

Yesterday we showcased our favorite part of the Oscars - the series of clips which showed many great moments from past Academy Awards presentations.  Seeing as how we thought that was the best part, we would have loved it if it were longer...and guess who agrees?  The ladies of ABC's The View not only thought there should have been more clips - but they want to know why their girl Whoopi Goldberg wasn't included!

In the episode of The View that aired yesterday, Sherri Shepherd brings up the fact that Whoopi wasn't showing in any of the clips that made it to the Best Moments of the Oscars montage.

"Did you make somebody at the Oscars mad?" Sherri asked.

"Undoubtedly," Whoopi smiled.  "Undoubtedly, I pissed somebody off yet again."

Whoopi did have some great moments at the Oscars, as Barbara Walters mentioned...but then again, this was the 80th anniversary.  If they showed clips from all 80 years, there would have been no time for award presentations, would there?

We wonder who chose the clippage.
