Whoopi And Elisabeth Argue, Tyra Banks Talks In Superspeed

Tensions have significantly heated up between Whoopi Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasselbeck on ABC's The View lately.  The two women's political viewpoints are like oil and water; and this might turn into a grease fire!  It doesn't escape us that Whoopi is in the seat that Rosie O'Donnell once held, who herself famously clashed with Hasselbeck's Republican ideals.  Actually, it was almost one year ago to the day (April 25th of '07) that Rosie announced on The View that she would not renew her contract as a cohost.

Today, Whoopi appeared to be feeling the same Hasselbeck Heat:  Whoopi and Elisabeth got into a semi-shouting match over Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's ties to Reverend Jeremiah Wright (whom, Joy Behar added, has an ego the "size of Australia").

You are not going to believe how fast she was talking.  She was like Tyra on speed, and the regular Tyra already tends to seem overcaffeinated, so this was really something.
