Who
Said
It, Who Dunnit?
Sunday, March 16th, 2008

What charity-trotting, big-hearted star
- who has fierce taste in shoes - just became a U.S. citizen, and
said the following: "I've always wanted to be [a citizen], they just
didn't want to take me. You're stuck with me now! It's quite a
process - you have to study up. You have to know your stuff - you've
got to know your Senators, how the government works...I studied up and I
was right there with my answers before he hand even finished the
questions."
And she passed!
I'll give you a hint.
She's from South Africa; was named Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive
in 2007; recently played dominoes for children's charity Art of Elysium;
she heads up the Los Angeles Committee for Global Green USA;
speaks three languages; and has won an Academy Award for a performance in
which she wasn't allowed to look pretty. That was 7
hints.
Still don't know? You don't read ConnieTalk.com enough
then! It is...

Charlize Theron!
South-African
born Theron won an Academy Award for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen
Wuornos in Monster. In addition to acting, she spends a lot
of time doing charity work. But she took a time out to sit down with
David Letterman on The Late Show and tell him a funny story about
forgetting how to spell "sunny" on her citizenship
test.
Didn't she look sort of sad, or stressed out,
though? She was laughing, but I wasn't really believing it.
Cheer up, Char...
