In Memory Of Sgt. Wesley R. Durbin

Sgt. Wesley R. Durbin of Hurst, Texas was killed on September 14th in
Tunnis, Iraq, from wounds sustained during a performance review in a shooting incident that the Department of Defense
(DOD) labeled "non-hostile." No further details were made available, but Army Staff Sgt. Darris
J. Dawson also died in the incident.
Both soldiers were assigned to the 3rd Battalion,
7th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division out of Fort Stewart, Georgia.
The Military released a statement saying that a U.S. soldier is being held in connection with the
shootings. Please keep Wesley and Darris' family, friends, and fellow soldiers in your thoughts
and prayers.
