Book Claims CIA Forged Ties Between Hussein, 9/11
Tuesday, August 5th, 2008 by Connie T.

Author Ron Suskind has released a book called "The Way of the World: A Story of
Truth and Hope in an Age of Extremism," which
accuses the White House of ordering the CIA to forge a letter to tie together
Saddam Hussein and the attacks of September 11th, 2001.
Suskind claims
the head of the Near East Division, Rob Richard, and others "right in the thick of
this operation" relayed to him an order that former CIA director George Tenet gave
to senior CIA operators.
The book also alleges that both the CIA and the
Bush administration--including the President himself--were told by inside sources that Iraq did not have any
weapons of mass destruction.
Ron Suskind has won a Pulitzer Prize for writing, and
is a former Wall Street Journal reporter.
From the author's
website: For anyone hoping to exercise truly informed consent and
begin the process of restoring the values and hope - along with the moral clarity and
earned optimism - at the heart of American tradition, The Way of the World is a must-read. Think
it will get blacklisted
like "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder" supposedly did? So far it's getting
some so-so coverage...although,
notice, it's mostly from bloggers, publicly funded outlets, and international papers.
