Sunny And 72 For Election Day
Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 by Connie T.

What a gorgeous day we had for election day today! It was sunny and 72 degrees; and we
even managed to get to our polling location when there was no line. Amazing!
Eight months later,
we finally found out what the snafu was during our Ohio
Primary Day Fiasco back in March. Someone at the Board of Elections had a 5 instead of a 6 in part
of our address - a typo. All that for a typo.
This time we were able to vote regularly and not provisional. So,
in the moment of truth, whose circle did we fill in?
Since Ron Paul, sadly, is not on the ballot in our state and not
registered as a write-in candidate, we opted for Chuck Baldwin. Hopefully the numbers of those who
voted for third party candidates this year will be significant enough for the mainstream media to consider
actually covering their campaigns in the future instead of the two-Party overload we see today.
We also
headed over to Dunkin' Donuts and asked for our free star-shaped doughnut. Turns out that's Krispy Kreme,
not Dunkin'. Doh!
