Does This Mean We Have To Twitter Now?

When I first heard the word "twitter," I thought it was some new brainchild of the
makers of Blackberry, or our friends
at AT&T, Verizon or Sprint. I shelved it in my mental To Look Up Eventually list, like
parents mutter "LMAO" to themselves to decode when they get around to it.
And those of you
who've follow me on Twitter-requested me, I promise I'll rescue those from my swamp
inbox soon!!
Anyhow, it turns out Twitter - a free (!) social network and mini-blogging site - is
actually the baby of a few young computer guru guys just like Google was...and it's so popular that
Barack Obama, Al Gore, Oprah (though she has yet to "tweet"), 50 Cent, Diddy, Coldplay, John Mayer, (on and on and on) have one, and
Ashton Kutcher is currently making headlines
for having more Twitter fans (or "followers") than CNN.
So, okay, I will file this under my To Sign
Up For list, and hopefully I'll get around to it sooner rather than later. I will not let technology
outgrow me...yet! (Quivers.)
