Rainbow In The Sky After Tim Russert's Memorial Service
Thursday, June 19th, 2008
Wow. FOX News played a view of the sky over the Capitol after Tim Russert's
Memorial Service, where a rainbow is stretched across the horizon as mourners left
the service. During the service, a ukulele rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"
was being played - and, as they walked out, a rainbow.
Russert, 50, was a
dedicated supporter of Catholic Education in Buffalo, and contributions in Tim's
memory may be made to any of the following, per MSNBC's Meet The Press: the Boys &
Girls Club of America (BGCA);
the Foundation of the RC Diocese
of Buffalo; and/or the Archdiocese
of Washington.
Meet The Press' entire homepage
is dedicated to Russert, with reflections from his look-alike son, Luke, to Tom Brokaw,
Maria Shriver, and many others.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Tim's
friends and family. Condolences for the Russert family may be sent to Russert.condolences@nbcuni.com.
