Tim Robbins Needed Court Order To Vote
Wednesday, November 5th, 2008 by Connie T.

Actor, director, and activist Tim Robbins had some issues at the polls this election. Susan
Sarandon's partner showed up to vote in downtown Manhattan - where he's been voting for years - and
his name wasn't on
the books at all.
He was so determined to vote that he stayed there until someone from the Board of
Elections came to explain the mishap, and then visited the Board's downtown office where a judge issued
a court order allowing him to cast his ballot.
"If anything it seems like a random thing, but in
randomness there are numbers. And there have been in the past," Robbins said.
Yeah, well deja to the vu
because the same thing
happened to us in the Ohio primary election. Yesterday we found
out that it was due to a Board employee's typo. There are numbers in randomness, alright!
Good for him...although
can you imagine the poor poll workers there when he refused to budge and demanded a rep from the Board come out?
