This is embarrassing. Gas prices have gotten so ridiculous that people are resorting to stealing it! A Richmond county man from Augusta, Georgia pumped over $3,000 in premium gasoline into multiple vehicles by giving a clerk $5, and then rigging the pump somehow with a screwdriver, according to police.

The gas he stole was $4.19 a gallon, and a Deputy said more than 700 gallons of gas was taken.

The steal was completed over five separate days.
