The Ex Gets The Ax!

The Ex has been cancelled. It premiered on CBS on October 3rd and will be ending its run
this Friday night. The show was a one-hour drama about a thirty-something woman who saw a
psychic and found out that she'd already dated the man who would become her husband. So she
decides to locate her ex's one at a time until she finds her true love.
Since they
were eliminating one guy per episode I'm wondering how many guys she'd dated? Let's see,
sources say that 25 episodes in a season is pretty standard. So, if the show ran for 5 years
she would have needed to date 125 different guys. If she started dating when she was 16 and
dated for 20 years that would average out to 6.25 guys per year. Whew!! This one must have
been pitched over a three martini lunch!
Anyways, it's rumored that the show will be
replaced with NCIS reruns. If you want to catch an episode you'd better tune in Friday
night.
