Nationwide numbers show around 1 million people participated in "tea parties" this
week across America, in all 50 states and about 700 cities, more than we originally predicted.
The president of Americans for Tax Reform told WorldNetDaily that "The
Obama administration has awakened a sleeping giant."
Protestors rallying have cited issues like
overspending amid a gaping national deficit, government bailouts, the ongoing wars in Iraq and Iran, and the
widening arm of government.
