In Memory Of Sgt. Steven J. Chevalier

The Department of Defense (DOD) has just confirmed the death of 35-year-old Sgt. 1st Class Steven
J. Chevalier of Flint, Michigan. Sgt. Chevalier died on July 9th in Balad, Iraq, from wounds
suffered in Samarra, Iraq when his patrol vehicle was struck by a grenade.
He was assigned to the
2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) out of
Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Steven is survived by his wife, Geneva, his two daughters, and
his mother, Dorothy Carol Chevalier. Please keep Sgt. Chevalier's family, friends, and fellow
soldiers in your thoughts and prayers.
