Star Jones Is Out Of A Job,
Fired By TruTV
Thursday, January 31st, 2008

The new Court TV - now called TruTV - has just revealed that the last
episode of the "Star Jones Show" will be Friday, February 1st...which is
tomorrow! How fast was that? Who did she tick off? The show debuted in August of
2006, before Court TV rebranded their program as TruTV. Sources say
she will be replaced by "Arrest & Trial," a new show, and Star will
still be consulted occasionally to weigh in on legal stuff.
Yeah,
right.
Sometimes we forget Star is even a lawyer - but before she
was cohost of ABC's The View, Jones practiced law here in the US
of A. Starlet Marie (her real name, which sounds so much cuter,
doesn't it?) was a Senior Assistant District Attorney by the age of
29. Unfortunately, she can't seem to get along with anyone long
enough to keep a daytime TV presence. She does have quite the
history with CourtTV, though, beginning to comment for them in 1991.
We have some advice for you, Star: change your name to Starlet
Marie, get another makeover, and start speaking out in support of the Ron
Paul! That will get you attention!
