Wednesday, September 17th, 2008 by Connie T.
You know that we've followed Michael Moore for a long time.
And the legendary filmmaker is now giving us the best news of all: his new film,
"Slacker Uprising," is being given out free of charge.
Everyone in the U.S.
and Canada can download the movie at slackeruprising.com
as a full-length feature film and watch it from the comfort of their own homes without
paying a penny. So pop some popcorn (if it's still affordable),
and prepare for its release September 23rd!
Says Moore, Next year it will be 20 years since my
first film, "Roger & Me," so I'd like to give those of you who've supported my work
over the years a thank you gift in the form of a brand new movie; and I hope the release
and wide distribution of this new movie will help to bring out millions of young and
new voters on November 4th. The movie follows Moore's 62-city tour
during the 2004 election, rallying young voters. It cost about $3 million to make,
$1 million of which came right out of Moore's pocket.
