Kenyon
I had the pleasure of meeting
Sherrilyn Kenyon over the weekend at the Desert Dreams
Conference in Phoenix. Sherrilyn writes the Lords of
Avalon, Dream-Hunter,
Were-Hunter, and Dark-Hunter series of
novels.
She shared her personal journey to becoming a New York
Times best-selling author and brought two hundred and fifty people to
tears. She went through a difficult childhood, the loss of a brother and
struggled with near poverty. But she persevered to become one of the best
selling authors of our time.
Sherrilyn's best advice for new
writer's? Follow what your heart tells you to write. It was only
after she allowed herself to do so that she became truly
successful.
Sherrilyn is a wonderful, down to earth person and gave
each of us a copy of her latest release Dream Chaser. If you ever
have the opportunity to hear her speak don't miss it. You won't be
sorry.
