In Memory Of Sgt. Tyler E. Pickett

Please
keep in your minds and hearts today the friends and family of Staff Sgt. Tyler
E. Pickett. Pickett, 28 years old, was from Saratoga, Wyoming. He died on
June 8th in the Kirkuk Province of Iraq from wounds suffered when his unit was
attacked by enemy forces using improvised explosive devices (IED's).
Tyler
was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team
of teh 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), out of Fort Drum, New York.
Tyler was supposed to be home on leave when he was killed. His return home had
been delayed until June 30th.
Pickett received the Medal of Valor for
stopping a suicide bomber in Iraq. He is survived by his wife, Kristy Pickett, and
the rest of his family. He and Kristy had just bought a house in Antwerp about a
year ago.
