This month is chock-full of activists' holidays and grassroots events. So what are
you waiting for? Get on over to our forum
and sign up so that you can view past, present, and upcoming calendar events being celebrated
across the nation!
September 20th is dedicated to a cause dear to our hearts, Puppy
Mill Awareness Day. And while we're on the topic of animal rights, a shoutout to the Humane Society of
the U.S. for sending ConnieTalk a plethora of antifur pins, signs, and even temporary tattoos...thank you
so much! We'll wear them with pride!
On September 27th the 1-year anniversary of the Saffron Revolution
is being celebrated, and people have been organizing events across the world to show their support
for the plight of the Burmese people, especially the monks.
Earlier this month on September 11th,
protestors at VoteStrike.org had a Lockdown USA day organized to express a general strike supporting
civil rights issues.
So if you haven't become a part of our online community, hurry up and join
so that you can be informed of the underground grassroots action!
