Scott Baio Is A New Daddy

Yup, you heard right.  Scott Baio, 46, the star of VH1's Celeb-Reality show Scott Baio Is 45 And Single, is now 46 and a daddy.  That was fast!  Baio and girlfriend (now fiancee) Renee Sloan, had a baby girl on November 2nd.  Renee already has an 18-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

The baby girl's name has not yet been released, but it's been reported that she was five weeks premature and weighed in at 5 pounds, 10 ounces.  On the first season finale of Scott Baio is 45...And Single, Baio proposed to Renee.  She accepted, and then told Baio she's preggers with his first child.

Season 2 was said to be debuting this fall - VH1 has announced their renewal of the show but not when it's slated to premiere.  Many writers - including the Boston Globe - have speculated that Scott Baio was never, in fact, single, and that he and Renee just wanted a celeb-reality show.
