Staff Sgt. Scott J. Metcalf of Framingham, Massachusetts, died on October 29th from
injuries sustained in Balad, Iraq. The Department of Defense (DOD) has labeled the death a non-combat related
incident. Scott was 36 years old.
Sgt. Metcalf was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 32nd Cavalry Regiment,
1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky. No further details have
been provided.
Scott is survived by
'his wife, Betty, their daughter, Korrine, and his mother. Please keep his family, friends, and fellow soldiers
