Schwarzenegger Cozies Up
To
Huckabee, But Endorses McCain
Thursday, January 31st, 2008

Governor of
California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was present at the California Republican debate last night, and was seen chuckling at
Mike Huckabee's jokes and then chatting with the former Arkansas governor after the debate
ended. If you saw that, you might have thought Schwarzenegger was set to
endorse Huckabee - but not so. Gov. Schwarzenegger announced today that he's endorsing Republican
candidate John McCain for the presidential nomination.
"He is a great American hero and an extraordinary leader," Arnold
said. "This is why I am endorsing him to be our next president of
the United States...There are people out there that talk about reaching
across the aisle, but he has shown the action, over and over
again."
Okay, Arnold, we get it - you love action movies and you
love running around on set with machine guns and bombs and all that.
But a candidate admitting that we may be in Iraq for another 100
years? This is not an action film. These are real lives being
lost. Sylvester Stallone announced his McCain endorsement as well -
and while we greatly respect real life soldiers, the actors that play
muscular vigilantes in action movies really shouldn't be crowned worthy of
deciding upon our future in Iraq.
Schwarzenegger is not even a natural citizen!!! Oh, we get so
pissed off.
