Rush Limbaugh Makes More Than All Of Us Combined
Thursday, July 3rd, 2008

Apparently we went all wrong going into blogging...the money's in radio! Who
thought a political radio show host made this much dough? Conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh
just snagged himself about a $400 million deal with Premiere Radio Networks - and he gets
to work from home.
Limbaugh signed on with Clear Channel Radio for another eight years, penning
a deal that gets him $38 million per year plus a six-figure signon bonus. Rush gave this information
to the New York Times for an article to be published Sunday, according to the AP.
Too late...the word's out now!
And the commentator with the second largest audience? Sean Hannity,
conservative commentator for ABC Radio Networks. Yup, he's got a foot in each network - it's the same
Hannity of FOX's Hannity & Colmes and FOX News Channel's Hannity's America.
Does this mean
conservatives listen to radio talk more often, or that there aren't enough liberals out there? And
how in the world is talking from home for three hours a day worth $38 million a year? The rich just
keep getting richer...
