McCain Has 7 Homes, But Doesn't Know It
Look, John McCain is not your average U.S. citizen. It drives me nuts when people go on about how Barack Obama is a so-called 'elitist' and act as if McCain is not. This week Sen. McCain proved just how detached he is from our own reality: he didn't know how many houses he owns.

Christina Aguilera's Magic Potion
You may have seen this ad already on any number of other blogs, but I find this too funny to pass up. If this isn't embracing a bubble gum pop image, Britney Spears has never worn pigtails. Dan Abrams Out, Rachel Maddow Is In
It's about damn time, that's all I have to say. Not that I had a problem with Dan Abrams, the one who's getting replaced - I don't think I ever watched him - but it's nice to see that a network has finally given a female political commentator, Rachel Maddow, her own show. There are certainly more than enough male pundits with their own programs out there.

Strike One For Bigfoot Finders
Rumors of there being a breed of giant hairy Sasquatch (aka Bigfoot) running around forests in the Pacific Northwest have been circulating since the 1800's. Some swear up and down that Bigfoot is real, while others compare these myths to that of the Loch Ness Monster or even alien life. How Did The Beijing Olympic Games Get Their Logo?
There's hardly a day that goes by, as you know, that I don't complain about the Olympics. Because I resigned myself to boycotting the event for the lack of morals surrounding this Summer's Games in Beijing, I'm stuck with only the occasional clip - such as that of Hungarian weightlifter Janos Baranyai popping out his elbow (I do not suggest clicking on that link) - on YouTube or Google Video, and I miss everything else.

Well, for tobacco users in the U.S., anyway. The U.S. House of Representatives voted last week in favor of having the FDA regulate tobacco products.
