In Memory Of Staff Sgt. Ronald Phillips Jr.

Staff Sgt. Ronald Phillips, Jr. of Conway, South Carolina died on September 25th
in Bahbahani, Iraq, from wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive
device (IED). He was 33 years old.
Sgt. Phillips was assigned to the 3rd Battalion,
7th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division out of Fort Stewart,
Georgia.
SSG Phillips was scheduled to be home on leave that week. He is survived by
his parents, his wife, and their two children ages 7 and 8, as well as three brothers. Please
keep his family, friends, and fellow soldiers in your thoughts and prayers.
