The message of peace, civil liberties, limited government, and
economic prosperity is still out there! Republican presidential candidate
Ron Paul cleaned up pretty well in the last three primaries. Per
and announcement on Paul's website,
Paul got 17% of the vote in South Dakota, 14% in New Mexico, and 22% in Montana.
This worked out to over 10,000 votes in SD, over 15,000 in New Mexico, and over
20,000 votes in Montana. Add those up and you get nearly 50,000 votes, in just
three states! (These figures are all posted on CNN,
where 100% is reported for these three states.)
Paul's giving John McCain
a run for his money...but will he take it to the Republican Convention in
the fall? We shall see!
Paul's campaign reports that over 1,000,000 Americans
have now voted for Paul and "the message of freedom, peace, and prosperity!"
