2/17/08 UPDATE:  It has been brought to our attention that since this article was published, Liberty Racing PAC's official PAC status was published at FEC.gov here, and any funds received and reported will be availabe and updated here.

The owners of RonPaulRacing.com, Liberty PAC, have contacted us regarding the spamming that was being done on various Ron Paul Forums, and have advised that they do not operate out of the state of California, and were not responsible for the unfortunate incidents.

This article will be updated with the link to an official retraction on 2/18.  We strive to protect both voters and consumers wherever we are advised there is misconduct, but after additional evidence surfaced do find that Liberty PAC is in fact a new fundraising Political Action Committee.

We wish them luck in reaching their fundraising goal.
