I know, I know, our veteran readers are going to tell us we post too
much about Ron Paul. But we post what YOU want to read about,
and stats don't lie: our articles on Ron Paul have
consistently been the top viewed stories (by
far) on the site since the presidential race began.
We're guessing
this is because the mainstream media has largely ignored
Ron Paul, and
we're one of the few who is covering him as consistently as the
"frontrunner" candidates. Well, that's fine by us: that's why
we say, "If THEY won't tell you, SHE will!"
So, for inquiring minds, we've compiled some
interesting facts and photos about Ron Paul, the person. Come on,

The Green Tree

Although he often called a Texan and has represented Texas districts,
Ron Paul is originally from Green Tree, Pennsylvania, a suburb of
Pittsburgh with about 4,500 people. Green Tree is also the
birthplace of Heroes actor Zachary Quinto.

Paul graduated from Duke
University School of Medicine in 1961.


Ron Paul led the Texas Delegation to nominate
Ronald Reagan for President in 1976.

Ron actually ran for President of the United States before. He
was third place in the 1988 presidential election for his
party.




Ron and his wife Carol Paul have been married for fifty years.
They met at Dormont High School where Paul was a track
star. He proposed the summer after junior year in college, and they
had about 300 guests at their wedding. They have five
children.
Paul was inspired by the monetary crisis in '74 when
Vietnam War funding and fast-moving inflation were hurting the
economy.
Ron Paul favors a non-interventionist foreign policy, and
voted against the Iraq War, but is in favor of force against the
terrorists in Afghanistan. Kind of makes sense, huh?
