Ron Paul Tells FOX He's Hosting His Own RNC

Again, everything happens when we're on vacation. Dennis Kucinich presented 35 articles of impeachment in the House against President George W. Bush; Ron Paul withdrew his presidential bid; the National Conference for Media Reform went down; and Marj said our website has "gone to the dogs."

But anyhow, here is another thing we missed: Ron Paul was on FOX News with Neil Cavuto! And guess what he revealed? During the Republican National Convention, which is being held September 1-4, 2008 in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota, Ron Paul will be hosting his own mini-convention next door!! And we shouldn't really call it "mini," because it would not surprise us at all if the turnout for Dr. Paul's event dwarfed the fledgling RNC!

Of course--surprise, surprise--FOX waited until the week Paul dropped out of the race to put Dr. Paul on the air. Remember, they're the ones who excluded Paul entirely from their Milford, New Hampshire debate in January (despite the fact that Paul was leading attendee Rudy Giuliani). But, hey, now that they no longer consider Paul a threat, they admit he's "good for ratings" and invite him on. So scandalous. Never underestimate the power of the People, and the People love Ron Paul, and want our Constitution back...and we're not giving up!!
