FOX Is Shocked That Ron Paul Was Right
Monday, September 29th, 2008 by Connie T.
Congressman Ron Paul was on FOX News again discussing the economic
crisis in the States and how it's having an international effect. The FOX News anchor
referred to Congressman Paul as a "genius in this," and probed him about the inside talks
regarding the proposed (and now struck down) $700 billion bank bailout. They have
to admit the truth, Paul said. They can't pretend they can patch this together by printing more money
and expanding credit. We've done over $700 billion already, they want another $700 billion...The
long term is what we should look at. The dollar problem--because it's a world phenomenon. And
now we're starting to see other countries involved, and we're going to see a lot more of those
yet to come.
Ron Paul then spoke before the House in "strong opposition" of the bill.
It's amazing how Paul has captivated people's attention to this point; even
though he dropped out of the presidential race months ago, Ron Paul videos still rush straight
to the Most Viewed category on video sharing sites. Hopefully the government starts listening
to Congressman Paul as much as the public does.
UPDATE: One more. In
this video, right after the vote, Ron Paul says it was the people contacting Congress that
made all the difference.
