Ron Paul: Why Bailout Failed In Congress

Prior to the Senate endorsing
the $700 billion bank bailout, Ron Paul made another
media appearance, this time on CNN via telephone.
"Millions and millions of American people
said they don't want to participate in [it]," Congressman Paul said of the why the proposed bailout
measure failed in Congress. The financial rescue plan for banks and Wall Street financial
institutions was struck down by 228 to 205 this week, before moving to the Senate.
The bill is back in the House of Representatives on Friday, so
