So here we are in April of 2008:
spring has sprung. The mainstream has long ago abandoned any of the
few polling reference(s) to Ron Paul they'd shown last year; NewsMeat turned off Paul's "live odds" at winning
a while back (though left him on the list of those running); last week
someone removed Paul's photo from the list of Republican nominees on
wikipedia, and someone else
put him back up days later. Just as many didn't know who Paul was
last year (hence the grassroots chalk signs that said "Google Ron Paul"),
this year many people don't know Paul is still running for the
nomination..
So why does our media fail
us?
Paul's campaign isn't on your TV screens like Hillary
Clinton's, John McCain's, and Barack Obama's often are. But it's
still active.
There are many people who have not given up on
spreading the message of freedom, civil liberties, and the Constitution to
Americans: Ron Paul supporters, and Ron Paul himself.
With
over $5.5 million on hand at last count, Ron Paul is now taking it to the
streets of Montana. On April 21st,
he will be doing a book signing at University Bookstore in Missoula,
Montana. The same day, Paul will speak at the University of Montana
in Missoula. And on June 20th, Ron Paul will be speaking at the
Montana State Convention, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula.
At virtually any time of day or night,
you can find Ron Paul supporters chatting at Justin.tv; internet users continue to converse on
Paul forum sites like DailyPaul.com and Ron Paul War Room about the latest campaign
ongoings. NolanChart reports regularly on Paul, as does InfoWars and a wide variety of writers
via Google News. Ron Paul
Revolution Radio has just announced that they will be expanding
into two internet radio stations called American Revolution
Broadcasting.
And time marches
on.
