Dear ConnieTalk: Why Didn't Ron Paul Support A Mathematically Perfected Economy?
Saturday, June 21st, 2008

We like to share letters from readers occasionally, so here is one
we received this week from Mike Montagne of PerfectEconomy:
Connie, I too supported Ron Paul, but have been extremely disappointed in his evasion
of mathematically perfected economy. The pattern of evasion is disturbing not
only to myself of course, but to our many supports at PFMPE, and so I believe it's
within polite bounds to question why--why neither a veritable invalidation of mathematically
perfected economy, or engagement in discussion?
The question is practically
rhetorical. If you doubt there's a topic in that worthwhile to all of us, I do suggest
that you ask the former candidate why; and if you get an answer, I surely would
appreciate you sharing it with us!
Wow. Well, Mike, I hate to say that
anything is over my head, but I'm also the first to admit that math has never ever
been my forte.
I've never heard the topic of a mathematically perfected economy
brought up with any of the presidential candidates. As for Ron Paul - although I'm
certainly not speaking for him - I've gathered that he feels a free market system
is the best way to naturally balance our economy.
But since I'm no expert on
this topic, I'm going to share your blog with our readers and leave the comments
section here open for discussion. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
