Ron Paul Announces Minneapolis Convention
Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008 by Connie T.

Congressman Ron Paul sent out a message to his supporters today with some
big announcements. "If they expected us to retire quietly from the scene," Paul wrote, "The
political elite are in for a surprise."
The first of the announcements is the
details of the convention he's hosting in Minneapolis, which he mentioned
during an appearance on FOX News in June.
The convention will take place from August 31 to
September 2nd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The handful of events taking place on those
days "will shake the political establishment," Paul said.
Tickets for the convention
are going on sale on Friday, July 25th at 10AM CST at Rally
For The Republic, in typical Ron Paul money bomb fashion. They're only $17.76 (get it? Declaration of Independence...1776?), and
a list of musicians and performers in attendance are on the Rally's website. The Rally will be taking
place at the Target Center, the largest arena in Minneapolis.
