Nicole Richie And Joel Madden Speak Out For UNICEF

And speaking of the Burma and Myanmar cyclone crisis, new parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden (we finally typed her name right! - for years I thought it was Ritchie) have done a video on behalf of UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund that was created by the UN to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries devastated by disaster(s).

The Richie-Madden's are getting charitable.  In November of 2007, Nicole and Joel created The Richie Madden Children's Foundation, an organization to help provide aid and programs for the less fortunate.  In December, they held a baby shower at the Los Angeles Free Clinic for mothers-to-be, shelling out $200k worth of baby goods to pregnant women.

You know what we're going to say, though.  While Nicole's feeling friendly, girlfriend still needs to quit wearin' fur!  Teach baby Harlow Winter Kate while she's still young...
