Richard Gere, Hilary Swank Filming Amelia
Tuesday, April 29th,
2008

I think you know what we're going to
say. Must we see something furgly every day? I know,
I know, this movie is set in the 1930's, but it just kills us to see that
poor dead fuzzy guy slung around Hillary Swank's neck like that.
Hopefully it's a fake or a donation from PETA. Okay, I got
that out of my system.
This should be a really good flick,
though. Richard Gere and Hilary
Swank are currently filming "Amelia," directed by Mira
Nair and written by Susan Butler, Mary Lovell, Elgen Long, and Ronald
Bass. It's a movie about the life of the famous American pilot Amelia
Earhart, who disappeared while flying over the Pacific Ocean in
1937. Earhart was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic
Ocean, and was a women's advocate who set many records in aviation.
Swank is a phenomenal actress - and who doesn't love Richard
Gere?
A release date has not yet been made public but the film
should be out sometime in 2009. Thanks to Louie
D and the Central Image Agency for this first shot from
the set!
