Ron Paul's Rally Rivals RNC Next Door
Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008 by Connie T.

It breaks my heart that I couldn't attend Ron Paul's Rally for the Republic
in St. Paul, Minnesota yesterday...the above video of Paul being introduced to the sold-out crowd
of 11,320 had tears falling down my cheeks.
If you're a member of our forum,
of course, you got this video first!
The Republican Congressman and former candidate for the Presidency was
shunned by the mainstream media, but throughout his convention (next door to the GOP's RNC) and perhaps
especially during his 2-minute standing ovation, it became clear that Ron Paul is not only supported by the
public, but loved.
CNN - who our loyal readers will recall left Paul out of even
their primary stats during the caucuses season - has now posted
a full article on the Rally for the Republic (thanks, Berni!). There's no mention, of course, of how the TBS-owned
station shunned
Paul during the debates, nor how they conveniently left him out of most of their election reporting. Nonetheless,
the Campaign for Liberty cannot be ignored.
Musicians Sara Evans and Aimee Allen performed
at the rally (Allen sang, "Start a revolution and break down illegal institutions!") Lew Rockwell, Jesse Ventura, Tucker
Carlson, Grover Norquist and Gary Johnson were among those that spoke to the energetic crowd.
You can read Ron Paul's full speech at the Campaign for Liberty's website -- his new home -- here. And it's
definitely not to late to sign up as a member (of course, free)
on Paul's new site, which is already 100,000+ strong. Long live freedom and liberty, my friends!
