California Voters Hold Crucial Decision

No, I'm not talking about Prop 8, because whether you're in the State of California or that
of Maine, you know what Prop 8 is by now and how you feel about it. I'm talking about the far-less-talked-about
but equally crucial Prop 2.
As we've said before, Prop 2 would stop cruel and inhumane treatment
of animals in meat market farms, as well as changing downed
animal practices.
In addition to preventing cruelty, the legislation would improve health and food
safety; support family farmers; protect the air and water; and help safeguard the environment.
Please,
California: the lives of 20 million farm animals can be protected from unnecessary suffering by your vote
