Marijuana Arrests Reach All Time High

I guess everybody is cutting back these days. It seems that drug users are returning to
marijuana with a vengeance. According to the FBI arrests for cocaine and heroin are on the
decline. In the meantime bookings for possession of marijuana accounted for 89% of
arrests.
What does that mean? Well it means that somebody is
arrested for possession about every 38 seconds. It also means that it exceeds the number
of arrests for all types of violent crimes (you know, rapes, murders, abuse etc.) put
together.
I'm not sure if they're using more marijuana because they're growing it
themselves in an attempt to cut corners or if they're just trying to get in on the green
movement by not using fossil fuels to import their drug of choice.
