Do you know your politics...and, better
yet, do you love them?
We've been keeping you as up-to-date as we
possibly can on both the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates
and how they are doing in each state's caucus...and apparently, you like
it! Last week, we focused a lot on politics, and on Friday, we had
236,706 visitors in just one day! That's almost a quarter of
a million readers, and we were shocked and humbled.
A big ConnieTalk thank you
to everyone who has been tuning into us for the latest REAL news, true
statistics, questions, concerns, and political madness.
If you've
been here long, you may recall back in August of 2007, we reported on the
Harris Interactive Poll that surveyed 2,225 adults and
showed that 3 in 10 Americans are not knowledgeable about political
issues.
But since that time, and since the presidential race for
the 2008 election has heated up, we'd be willing to bet that number has
changed. And we soooo want you to be interested in
politics! We throw a little hot pink and sarcasm into it, and
investigate the real stories, and it seems you like it when politics
aren't just a huge room full of old white men gabbing on C-Span.
(Don't get us wrong, we love C-Span.)
So pat yourself on
the back...for caring enough to be involved in your future and the future
of this amazing democratic republic we call U.S.A.!
