Pamela Anderson Sheds Viper, Loses Shirt

Miss Pamela Anderson was in Las Vegas, Nevada yesterday for a Celebrity Memorabilia Auction at Planet Hollywood. At the event, Pam did an awesome thing: she auctioned off her beloved Dodge Viper so that the proceeds could go to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

The car was customized by Pamela with white racing stripes, and is shown in her upcoming E! reality TV series "Pam: Girl On The Loose."

But she told the AP that there's another good reason for her parting with the car: "I'm a terrible driver," she said. "It's just not a good idea for me to have a Viper." Yeah, those are some high-performance wheels. Probably gas-guzzling, too.

The spaghetti strap ivory lace number with rectangle-strapped tank? Bra straps showing at a celebrity event? Smudged eyeliner? We love you...but call us!
