Only Good News Today

There is a lot of icky, depressing news that is making the headlines today:  from gunman Stephen Phillip Kazmierczak (the gunman who killed five students and himself at Northern Illinois University this week); to a drag race that killed seven people in Accokeek, Maryland; to missing business tycoon Steve Fossett finally being declared dead; to today's burial of Melitus Mugabe Were, a 39-year-old member of Parliament for Embakasi and peacemaker in Kenya who was shot in the head.

From coast to coast, it seems, this is an overall depressing news week.

Therefore, on behalf of hope for a better world (and in an effort to give you break from the madness), as our belated Valentine's Day gift to you, we are making today Good News Only Day.

Let's all keep hope alive, huh?
