Hmm. I always thought one-hit wonder was hyphenated. I guess its subjective. Anyhow, paging
Benny Mardones, Devo, Joey Scarbury, Bow Wow Wow, Soft Cell,
Thomas Dolby, Peter Schilling, Club Nouveau, Bobby McFerrin, Calloway,
Deee-Lite, and many, many more: today
is National One Hit Wonder Day, believe it or not.
We'd like to know who
labeled this One Hit Wonder Day, if anyone's in the know on that. And if you're in the mood for
celebrating, here's
a great list of the Top 50 Greatest One Hit Wonders.
Ah, The Rembrandts...they had no
chance after becoming the token Friends song.
