A justice of the peace ruled
today the O.J. Simpson must face trial on kidnapping, armed robbery, and
other charges related to the sports memorabilia incident that went down
September 13th in a Las Vegas Hotel room.
"This is what we expected,"
Simpson told the Associated Press on his way out of the courtroom.
"If I have any disappointment, it's that I wish a jury was here.
As always, I rely on the jury system."
HE DID NOT JUST SAY
THAT! "As always?" Does he thinks that's
funny?
I don't know that I would
consider that kidnapping, though. I mean, really, I don't think
they even roughed the guys up when O.J. and his crew payed that fateful
visit to the sports memorabilia dealers...from the audio recording, it
sounds like they just scared the shit out of them.
If convicted on kidnapping
charges, O.J. could get prison time up to a life sentence with the
possibility of parole; armed robbery charges would mandate at least some
time in prison.
O.J. and co-defendants are
scheduled to be arraigned November 28th.
