Hillary Clinton Content In The Senate
Tuesday, October 14th, 2008 by Connie T.

Last month we posted a poll
asking you readers where you think Hillary Clinton will go from here. Will she simply
go on to become the most powerful Senator in the Capitol? Or will she become a Supreme Court Judge,
Secretary of State, or a Member of the President's Cabinet? How about running for President in
2012?
Well the majority of you overwhelmingly voted - 57% - that you believe Hillary
Rodham Clinton will be running for President again in the next election. Second place went to
Secretary of State at 17%.
But in an interview with "Fox & Friends" that aired today,
Hillary seemed pessimistic about exploring any other roles in the future besides Senator. When
asked if she would seek the majority leader seat in the Senate, Hillary said the chances of that
are "probably zero."
"I'm not seeking any other position than to be the best Senator from
New York that I can be," she said.
And when asked if she would like to be nominated to
the Supreme Court, she gave a definite "Zero. I have no interest in doing that."
Though she
didn't nix all possibilities of running for President of the United States again in the future, she
said it isn't likely.
"Probably close to zero," Hillary responded to FOX's question of rating
the possibility from 1 to 10. "There's an old saying: Bloom where you're planted."
