The Pickens Plan is
a community that focuses on the economy, the environment, and national security, but primarily
on utilizing a plan for clean natural gas to reduce dependence on foreign oil.

Pickens of Pickens Plan has a 15 second ad (above) on how the Iranians are moving to power their
vehicles by natural gas to free up oil. The ad was cleared by every network...except for NBC,
which was apparently wary of revealing that Iran is moving quickly to CNG-powered vehicles while
the US is not.
NBC has since relented and allowed the ad to air...but we thought we'd let
you know that back story, since this is news without strings!
