40,000 troops are told
they'll be deployed in the fall, to Iraq and
Afghanistan, a sign that the military is expecting hard
fighting to continue through late next year. Nice try,
administration...but hopefully (fingers crossed!) there will be a
President who will fix this mess by then.

Nas changes album
title. Def Jam records confirmed to EW.com that hip-hop
artist Nas finally broke down and changed the title of his upcoming
album. He and wife Kellis caused quite a stir when
they showed up to the 2008
Grammy's with N----r on their clothing, to promote the album; but it will
now be simply Nas.
Quickie Weddings: Jessica
Alba was expecting with longtime boyfriend Cash
Warren, but they are now husband & wife and
parents-to-be -- they tied the knot yesterday, her publicist said. Meanwhile,
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are celebrating their honeymoon in the basement with
blown-up palm trees. That's cute and inventive, we actually like it. At least
privacy is guaranteed!
