Minnesota to pay around $70,000 in backed taxes to 17 different

Seattle man denied liver transplant due to medicinal
marijuana, dies of liver failure. A 56-year-old man
named Timothy Garon was authorized by his doctor to
utilize medicinal marijuana to relieve abdominal pain, ease nausea, and
help him eat. A University of Washington Medical Center committee
denied him a liver transplant because he used marijuana with medical approval.
He died one week later (yesterday).

Barbara Walters is appearing on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on
Tuesday, and will be sharing details on her affair with a moderate
Republican Senator Edward Brooke, of Massachusetts. The relationship
was disclosed in Barbara's new memoir, "Audition," and Walters will be
discussing the book and disclosing a personal side on O next
week.
