Other Stuff You Don't Want To Miss

New NY Governor David
Paterson was only Governor of New York a few hours before issuing
the disclaimer: I used to stay at the Days Inn with
another woman (other than my wife) from 1999 until 2001, FYI. You
can't zing me on this later.

The things we do for
love laptops: PBS anchor/journalist Charlie
Rose apparently tripped over a pothole, but dove to save his laptop,
resulting in a quick meeting between face and pavement, and
this.
Eva Longoria-Parker
celebrated her 33rd birthday by ordering a cake...of herself.
There's nothing like loving yourself so much, you want to eat
yourself. Although it kinda looks more like Malibu Barbie.

Strange: A women's studies professor wants a paper
run by engineering students at the University of Ottawa to be shut down
for running a mock sex advice column on anal sex that
contained 'hostile' language. "The language...is really reminiscent
of anal rape," Prof. Kathryn Trevenen said. "They basically say,
'Don't let her get away. This isn't over until you say it
is.'" WHAT?! The article itself is not shown, although the
description reads "Friday's column in the Oral Itis, published by the
Engineering Students Society, contained graphic references to anal sex,
sexual aggression and pedophilia...the society is still handing the paper
out to anyone who drops by the society's office and asks for it."

Poll update: Wow, I wasn't expecting
this. More than 300 of you voted on Sunday's article on Lou Dobbs vs. CNN on Illegal Immigration, and
70% of you said you agreed with Lou Dobbs the most.
Just 27% of you agreed with Barack Obama; and
2
% said Neither.
